Storm in a Teacup Move Shop

Due to its huge popularity and success, Storm in a Teacup will shortly be moving to new premises.

Although Storm in a Teacup has only been open since October of last year, Ripon's only vintage-style shop has already established itself as 'the' place to go for anyone looking for something a little out of the ordinary. Whether you are searching for glamorous ladies' eveningwear accessories or quirky and unusual gifts, Storm in a Teacup certainly has something for everyone.

Due to its huge popularity and success, Storm in a Teacup will shortly be moving to new premises at 5 Kirkgate (next to Ripon Travel) and we should expect to see the shop fully installed in its new surroundings by the end of June 2007.

Currently positioned on Court Terrace, just off the main shopping street, owner of Storm in a Teacup, Emma Warner-Reed, hopes that this move will firmly cement Storm in a Teacup onto the shopping map in Ripon.

"I have been keen since we opened to find somewhere with a shop front where I can properly showcase the wonderful products we have to offer", says Emma, "and this move will enable me to do this perfectly".

Emma comments: "Many shoppers have also found the shop's restricted opening hours prohibitive, and the move onto Kirkgate will mean that I can remain open until 5pm, in line with other shops in Ripon".

The move also promises to bring new ranges of both giftware and jewellery to Storm in a Teacup's already extensive stock, with additional lines from glamorous American vintage jewellery designer Shelley Cooper, designer beauty products from Gianna Rose Atelier and an extended display of millinery from Catherine Hart designs.
